Welcome to my Blog site.

I have been working at startups for over thirty years mostly on the west coast. These startups have been in the software, wireless, semiconductor, internet, and networking areas. About five years ago, I returned on North Carolina and taught courses in Entrepreneurship in the Wake Forest University MBA program, contributed to community entrepreneurship by running the WFU startup incubator in Winston Salem, and assisted with commercialization of bioscience technologies by being a part of Wake Forest Innovations. Last year, I was involved in mentoring startups in the Research Triangle Park (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill) area of North Carolina though the Council for Entrepreneurial Development Venture Mentoring Service.linke I hope to return to that activity in the future as it is a great program for startups. Just recently, I decided to leave Wake Forest and return to what I love doing which is creating or being part of startups. For more information about me, you can check out my profile on LinkedIn.

The goal of this site is to share resources and insights that I have found helpful. Here you will find general posts about entrepreneurship, ideation, feasibility, marketing techniques, management ideas, and experiences that are unique to new ventures and startups. If you have specific areas that you would like to see covered, please let me know.
